Our August event is a seafood spectacular at Hairy Dog Brewery where we will hear from CEO Jim Nolan who will tell us his story from working in the city to buying a vineyard and brewery. We will also discuss the impact of Brexit and Covid on his businesses.
Lunch will be a Seafood spectacular (non-seafood options available) paired with Hairy Dog beers and Black Dog Hill sparkling wine.
Our guest speaker for the ‘business bite’ slot is one of our members, Ian Fletcher-Price. Ian will tell us how he founded his business, Posturite, and grew it to become one of the UK’s largest ergonomic office equipment manufacturers supplying 75 of the FTSE 100 companies. Ian will also tell us about how he recently sold his business to US office furniture giant Fellowes.
